Exhibition Opening of The Dialogue of the Dogs at the Francesca Maffeo Gallery, Essex (13th January 2017).
Richard will be represented by the Francesca Maffeo Gallery, a new independent photography gallery for contemporary and historical photography in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Richard will exhibit his project The Dialogue of the Dogs in January 2017.
Richard's work will be included in the exhibition Process at Bankley Gallery, Manchester, opening 27th May. Process is a group exhibition featuring the work of current members at Bankley Studios. The exhibition invites you to engage in a variety of making and thinking processes, exploring the different methodologies behind artistic decision-making. Exhibition continues until 11th June 2016.
Richard will be speaking at the Aesthetica Symposium: Future Now on 26th May 2016. Taking part in the panel discussion Breaking New Ground: Photography in the Digital Age, along side David Drake (Ffotogallery and Diffusion Photography Festival), Olivier Richon (Royal College of Art), Anne Braybon (National Portrait Gallery), James Smith (Norwich University of the Arts), discussing the digital age of technological convenience, where artists opt for digital manipulation in conjunction with, or instead of, analogue photography.
